Recently I was lambasted by one of our fine readers for my opinion that we use every tool at our disposal to hunt down terrorists whose primary objective is to spread Islam by the sword (i.e. submit to Islam or die). I am one of those obstinate souls that mirrors the former Vice-President Dick Cheney’s belief that we can’t dither when it comes to protecting our national interests. We are living in an apocalytpic world where the villains don’t subscribe to MAD (not Mad Magazine!), but rather mutually assured destruction as the former Soviet Union and us had during those tense Cold War days. By the way, did anybody else get goosebumps when they heard of the insane Obama Administration plan to dismantle half of our nuclear arsenal? This President Obama is either not playing with a full deck or he is presiding over the purposeful weakening of the United States of America. Liberals always seem to be dialing up a playbook that dramatically puts our national defense at grave risk, which Obama had started in earnest with dramatic deep cuts for defense and intelligence spending upon assuming power. Case in point, what rational leader would freeze “Star Wars”, the Strategic Defense Initiative in a dangerous world featuring certifiable lunatics like Kim Jong Il of North Korea, an increasingly hostile regime in Russia with Putin and Medvedev on the march, and Ahmadinejad with help from the “Mad Mullahs” on the cusp of securing nuclear weapons (if they don’t already have them). Our differences with these countries don’t lie with their people who yearn for freedom, it is their hostile regimes that have been upping the ante with provacative saber rattling. China with a unstable Communist Government, thanks to the Clinton Administration can reach the United States of America with nuclear warheads so why would the Obama Administration curtail the Star Wars program?

Here was my response to the premise that “waterboarding” enemy combatants was always unjustified as part of our “Enhanced Interrogation Techniques” suite of options. With all due respect, waterboarding is not torture, unless we are torturing our own soldiers that are routinely waterboarded during their training. Moreover, these terrorists that liberals are always advocating for and defending (Can I have a tissue Tito?) would love nothing more than to kill millions of Americans. Think of the citizens on the Arab Street that were jubilantly dancing and singing after 9-11. If these Islamofascists had any of us as prisoners they wouldn’t think twice about cutting off our heads. This includes limp wristed liberals as these animals want us all dead, unless we submit to slavery in a 7th Century Sharia Law nightmare.

Khalid Sheikh Mohammed was waterboarded and gave up vital intelligence that might have saved countless thousands of American lives. The nonsensical argument that “waterboarding” doesn’t work was proven to be a fictitious pipe dream by hand wringing leftists as Mohammed sang like a canary. Would you think that waterboarding is justified if we had a blood thirsty terrorist in custody that had relevant information about a plot to detonate multiple nuclear bombs in major American cities (the ticking time bomb scenario)? Would you think that waterboarding was okay if a captured madman terrorist had vital intelligence about your family that would be executed or killed by the jihadist’s? By the way, a brief sidebar issue; I’m furious at South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham when he accused our country of torturing (via waterboarding) enemy combatants. Graham is another one of those Republican in name only fools that needs to be fired during a Primary in the great Palmetto State. Torture is what happened to your friend, that being war hero Senator McCain in Vietnam who was beaten within an inch of his life. I still am rooting for conservative JD Hayworth in the Arizona primary because McCain has been a off the reservation “maverick” that is partly responsible for us not drilling in ANWR.

We are in World War III; our country can be on offense or we can be the victims of radical Muslims that celebrate their kids dying in the most grosteque fashion imaginable as homicide bombers where innocent men, women and children die. Why don’t the leaders ever sign up for these suicide missions, since they are supposed to receive 72 virgins after carrying out these barbaric crimes against humanity? By the way, there is still discussions about closing Guantanmo Bay, which seems even more absurd in light of released prisoners there sprinting back to the battlefield to try to kill our brave soldiers throughout the world. The recidivism rate of these terrorists is off the charts so why are they even being set free? If these guys are in “Club Gitmo” as Rush Limbaugh calls it, then they should stay there indefinitely.
