Students in dire need of some mugshots
There was yet another tragedy in a High School in Massachusetts that was reported on Fox News by Megyn Kelly and Bill O’Reilly regarding a teenage girl that hanged herself because of evil bullies that called her a “Slut” and other horrible names on Facebook and physically and mentally assaulted this poor girl. These vicious girls topped off their nefarious actions by making fun of this young lady after she had died. In my humble opinion, these animals need to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Maybe in prison these “thugettes” can get a taste of their own medicine. It’s time that schools get control over “Mean Girls” and “Mean Boys” by partnering with various police departments around the country with stingent laws enacted by Congress to throw the book at bullies in schools. The lame excuse that school officials can’t do anything about students actions off of the premises is ridiculous. Clearly, these same rules don’t apply to employees that break laws when not on the clock as they frequently are fired or treated to harsh sanctions. If I was the parent of the young lady that committed suicide I would sue the school and the parents of the girls if it is proven that they didn’t know about these truly heinous actions of these despicable bullies.
There needs to be a zero tolerance policy at all schools in this country about physical altercations where the police are summoned for each fight, coupled with suspensions and expulsions for students that resort to violence. Moreover, we should build more military schools where kids who are repeat offenders receive the discipline that they desperately need. Convicts in training can find redemption or change, but not through coddling and failed liberal policies. Tough love is required in many scenarios; I remember a great program called “Scared Straight” where children at risk were sent to meet with hardcore criminals to give them a snapshot of what life in the “Big House” would look like if they continued to embrace poor choices.
Dynamics must be shifted in this country because there is no reason that America should continue to have the most incarcerated citizens by percentage of any free society on the planet. Today’s children in many instances feel that they are bullet proof, that rules apply to others in part because teachers and parents seem to be at odds regarding students. It used to be that parents, teachers and school officials were on the same page with corporal punishment on campus and “capital” punishment at home so children had respect for authority. With all due respect to President Bush, there are some students that deserve to be left behind if they are constant disruptions, while being terrorizing forces that drive kids to commit suicide or to live in constant fear. I know this first hand as I got on the wrong side of a junior mafia group in training who constantly targeted students for intimidation and beatings. I remember like it was yesterday when one of the kids that also got in the crosshares of these ruffians brandished a knife before being talked down by a teacher then breaking down into tears. There have been studies that show that 50% of kids were victimized by bullies or were the actual bullies, which cannot continue to be the standard operating procedure in the United States of America. If a 25 year old man beats up another person on the streeet the consequences are severe. Why should school children be allowed to be savaged by fellow students without similar punishments?
And, another thing there should be teachers and professors with firearms or armed security guards utlizing state of the art trigger lock with identification technology so the guns can’t be taken from them at schools across America. Let’s prevent future Columbine High School or Virginia Tech massacres where students and teachers are at the mercy of deranged gunmen. It’s time that the assassins become targeted for an express ticket to hell when the good guys take them down. Let’s not let these gunmen turn schools and public squares into shooting ranges with these home grown terrorists getting their fifteen minutes of fame by becoming serial killers at the expense of our loved ones.

This is a tough one Wayde. It seems that there is never a day goes by that there is not some ridiculous act reported ,wherby some young person has committed some cruel and ridiculous act.
On the other hand many times the adults in charge appear to be lacking common sense ,and flounder about how to handle the actions of children.
As a nation we should make this a national effort to combat this, and I do not think we need to raise taxes to do so.
Hilary Clinton wrote a book ,”It Takes a Village”. Regardless of what you think of Hilary, she nailed this one. However our villages are falling apart, literally and figuratively. So many of our children come home to empty houses. Distracted parents( or parent) fall short of their needs ,teachers are expected to pick up the slack there and handle gifted, handicapped and special needs children in a classroom. Many homes lack the spiritual guidance that is so needed, especially in the formative years.
As a result of the failure of the adults around our children, they turn to TV,Video games and the internet, Home alone so much of the time I believe they take out their anger and frustration on whomever is available. Sometimes that is the schoolmate that is struggling their way through the teenage years. These kids look for any kind of attention, even if it is bad behavior ,just to have some interaction and get rid of their own teenage demons.
Now back to the village. Who gave control to these kids? I had little or no control as a kid. I was either at school, home or church or at a friends. Parents parented all of us ,teachers punished us and gave us bad grades if we didn’t do the work and parents followed through at home by “grounding”us if we had bad report cards. You knew it was us (kids) against them(the adults)and we complained about it. I said so many forced” I’m sorrys” to people for inappropriate actions,on my part, to adults and other kids that I am sure I have an award waiting for me in heaven. Well maybe not,but you get the picture. When we acted badly, the Village let us know, and the Village agreed what bad behavior is,not psychologist and the courts. The hope was if the Village did its’ job, psychological and court intervention would not be necessary.
My family made mistakes with us,but we never knew that until we were adults, because they raised us with such authority,we had no idea they could be wrong or we even had the right to question them.
Was there any love involved in this whole process? You bet there was. We very often did not know this until we got sick, hurt or left home. I can tell you ,I always felt safe. Not understood ,but safe. I never felt the emptiness that our kids today exhibit. For it truly is a child with an empty, hard heart who bullies.
The dumbing of America has left us with people in charge of our children that cannot adequately make common sense decisions which demonstrate authority and wisdom . Point, no tolerance in bringing weapons to school, means weapons, not a two inch plastic lego toy, shaped as a gun ,as is on the news the last few days. The child does not need to be suspended under the no tolerance rule,he needs an adult to simply explain that as a result of the rule the toy should be left at home. Now ,with all the of the adults arguing around him,he ,I am sure has lost confidence in the adults to be in control. The death of common sense, is most apparent in dealing with children.
Yet we say nothing can be done when someone is bullied to the point that the pain is so great that death is the only answer to escape it . What the h*** is wrong with people?
Just weigh the two scenarios above. Have the adults acted responsibly? Why should we not expect horrible behavior from these kids? Who the H*** is in charge? The real shame is that law enforcement has to get involved at all. The parents of these kids should have gotten involved with the bullying long ago,and the kid doing it should have been made to pay for bad behavior BEFORE it became to big an issue. You know the I’m sorry thing my family made me do when I did something really wrong.
These kids see really bad behavior by adults with power all around them. I’ll mention just a few Bill Cinton,Michael Vick,Tiger Woods,John Edwards and very often in their own towns, neighborhoods and homes. Very often there is little or no visible cost to these folks,ie Bill Clinton,Michael Vick. Why should they think they will have to pay for bad behavior.
Adults will first have to accept their responsibilities to the Village before we can expect better behavior from our children.
It does take a village to raise the kids, but not Hillary’s version of Socialism as the answer, as she is just like Obama believing that government has the solutions to all of our problems. In the interest of full disclosure, I didn’t take the time to read any of her books. I don’t know if Hillary even wrote “It takes a village” as Ghostwriters are very busy campers penning books for celebrities and politicians. I dare say that Obama didn’t write his books either, unless they were dictated to him by his teleprompter. I want to make sure that Americans are not stupid enough to elect Hillary Clinton thinking that she will be different than Obama, especially since they share many of the same world views. The only discernible difference that I can make between these two is that Hillary dons the pant suits in an array of beautiful colors and throws lamps at her husband.
You are absolutely correct that adults bear much of the responsiblity for the state of today’s younger generation through neglect and being consumed with self-interested pursuits. Much of the blame can be placed squarely on government that forced families through confiscatory tax rates to have both parents working, rather than having the husband or wife home with the kids. The schools and parents need to come up with game plans to improve children’s self-esteem as studies have shown that self-esteem decreases steadily from Kindergarten through High School! I submit that getting back to the basics, instilling values by putting God first, spending time with our children, and returning to some of the values and traditions that made this the greatest country in history would be a wonderful recipe. It would take a lot of work as liberal schools, government and the dominant leftist media culture have been counterproductive. It’s time to take our country back incrementally or in giant steps if possible.
Hilarys’ book was a good one. Although it has been years since I read it,it is worth the read if time allows. Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in awhile. This book may be one of the few nuts Hilary finds. My humble opinion.
It might be her second nut that she found after Bill. Also, you make a good point about reading the opposition, especially if her Ghost Writer has some useful information there that we can apply to our lives.
Thanks for taking the time to chat about this, I feel fervently about it and I benefit from learning about this subject. Please, as you gain facts, please update this blog with more information. I have found it very useful.
Thank you Dr Borden for your comments! I can appreciate that you are passionate about this issue, especially with the youth violence that was recently in the news in Chicago. We need to take our schools back where bullies are broomed away to reform or military schools if they can’t stop terrorizing our children.
This is a great blog posting and very useful. I really appreciate the research you put into it
Thanks for exploring the “galaxy”! I created the “Students in dire need of some mugshots” post because bullying has reached epidemic proportions and some remedies are long overdue.

Thanks black hat forum for stopping by our website.
Your blog is so informative … keep up the good work!!!!
We have every intention to keep writing and reporting on the burning topics in the news.
Great tips, these are useful and this site rocks especially for beginners like myself…
This is an area that I think needs to be remedied. Bullies need to ride right or get out of the schools; there needs to be a zero tolerance policy on this issue.
hi everybody ! This is a nice post !!! See you soon

how can you say that? who really cares about that? what is super important is what the media tells us is important on any given day. haven’t you guys check the gossip sites today. it’s not about world events and how to keep the economy alive and healthy, they all want to know about paris hilton and her cocaine arrest.
I think a lot of people are disgusted about celebrities seemingly skirting the laws of society such as Paris Hilton, while regular citizens are held to a higher standard. We don’t really scour the gossip sites as we are focused on politics here.
That guy just looks dangerous. I doubt that six years will rehabilitate him, probably nothing will. Too bad one of Paris’ bodyguards didn’t see him with a knife, then we probably wouldn’t even have to try him, just bury him.
What a well written article. I spend days on the internet reading blogs, about tons of different subjects. I have to first of all give kudos to whoever created your theme and second of all to you for writing what i can only describe as an post. I honestly believe there is a skill to writing articles that only a few posses and frankly you have it. The combination of informative and quality content is definitely extremely rare with the large amount of blogs on the internet.
I recently discovered your blog/website and have genuinely enjoyed reading this and some of your other posts. I thought I would dive out from the shadows and leave my first comment. I am not certain what to say other than I’ve enjoyed reading and will continue to visit as often as I can.
Gday, I was viewing this blog via the phone and it looks somewhat weird. Believed you’d want to know. It is a terrific post though, didn’t mess that up.
