Obama’s State of the “Onion” Speech “Not True” Part II
I had to chuckle about Barack Hussein Obama lecturing the Republicans about bi-partisanship at their retreat in Baltimore, Maryland after the President condoned his Democratic collagues in locking out the elephants for all meaningful legislation for the entire year. The media’s self created “Messiah” has lost much of his luster with the formerly charming and charismatic candidate literally putting some of his colleagues to sleep during the State of the Union address. I logged onto www.huffingtonpost.com as they provided a full text (transcript) of the SOTO, and found they provided some stunning pictures including Department of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano apparently napping during the President’s address, coupled with other bored attendees like Harry Reid who was yawning. Janet Napolitano counting sheep at the address is a microcosm of the Obama’s Administration’s sleeping on the job regarding national security and border enforcement. Meanwhile, Speaker of the House was starring as a trained seal that leapt out of her seat at almost everything that Obama uttered. I wonder if Vice-President Biden was tossing her some fish as rewards to continue the “show” of enthusiasm. In a breaking story, Nancy Pelosi aboard the largest plane ever for a Speaker of the House was setting up the taxpayers with extravagant cuisine and adult beverages for their trips to Copenhagen to participate in the great global warming hoax summit.
Let’s return to our regularly scheduled analysis of the SOTO (State of the Onion) by our “Bolshevik” President (I Know that it is a State of the Union address, but I explained why I call it this is the first installment). I’m sorry–I couldn’t resist this little zinger, since Obama said that he is not an “Ideologue” or a “Bolshevik” at his meeting with Republican Congressional members. It’s too bad that politicians that have been known to be less than honest, that they can’ be hooked up to lie detector machines.
Obama: So I know the anxieties that are out there right now. They’re not new. These struggles are the reason I ran for President. These struggles are what I’ve witnessed in places like Elkhart, Indiana; Galesburg, Illinois. I hear about them in the letters that I read each night. The toughest to read are those written by children–asking why they have to move from their homes, asking when their mom or dad will be able to go back to work.
Wayde: If you truly care Mr. President, then reverse course on attacking banks, financial institutions and insurance agencies. If you want to help Mr. President, then why is the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) hovering over businesses with extra regulations and why do 71% of investors feel that you are hostile toward business? It seems as if the economic woes are purposeful by the Democratic party as the more Americans are dependent upon government, then the more government can grow, which in theory will keep the donkey’s in power in perpetuity. The problem with this is Americans don’t believe in Socialism. Many are quite familiar with Socialist countries that routinely endure 10 to 20% unemployment rates. Moreover, many of these citizens in those countries are part of a rental society versus an ownership society as they are forced to pay 60 to 80% in taxes, which leaves precious little money left over to buy things.
Obama: For these Americans and so many others, change has not come fast enough. Some are frustrated; some are angry. They don’t understand why it seems like bad behavior on Wall Street is rewarded, but hard work on Main Street isn’t; or why Washington has been unable or unwilling to solve any of of our problems. They’re tired of the partisanship and the shouting and the pettiness. They know we can’t afford it. Not Now.
Wayde: Americans are actually angry because they were sold a bill of goods; change was supposed to be a positive phenomena, instead it has meant a lower standard of living, exploding deficits with an escalating unemployment rate. The partisanship and pettiness has been the domain of your Democratic Party Sir, with Republicans being excluded from all of the proceedings. I’m not surprised that President Obama took his obligatory shot at Wall Street. The Democrats are certainly using poll tested class warfare, but by constantly beating down the private sector, recovery, restoration and rebuilding cannot begin in earnest. It’s like the liberal nimrod Governor Patterson in New York that wanted to punish the rich with even higher taxes so the achievers are just checking out of the state. And, the same thing will happen nationally if the Obamacrats continue their “trickle up poverty” where the rich and even the middle class are constantly under assault.
Obama: As a result, the markets are now stabilized, and we’ve recovered most of the money we spent on the banks. Most but not all. To recover the rest, I’ve proposed a fee on the biggest banks. Now, I know Wall Street isn’t keen on the idea, but if these firms can afford to hand out big bonuses again, they can afford a modest fee to pay back the taxpayers who rescued them in their time of need.
Wayde: Mr. President how come you are not targeting General Motors and Chrysler for extra fees, especially since they haven’t paid back the lion share of all of the bailouts? Both of these corporations declared bankruptcy, but this bailout was to prop up unsustainable union contracts that forced the automakers into financial ruination. We know the reason is because unions and government in your world vision are benevolent, and the private sector is evil. Mr. President, how come you didn’t move on Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac’s executives that made off with millions of dollars in bonuses for running the country into the ground? Meanwhile, banks and financial institutions that have paid back their loans in full with interest are the villains that need to be shaken down a little more (The Gambino crime family would have been oh so proud). And, misinformed and naive citizens that applaud more taxes on these entities should be aware that banks, and businesses for that matter don’t pay taxes, instead they will just pass on these costs to the consumer.
Now I’m sorry for going a little long on this rant because your probably acting like Janet Napolitano by now and zoning out. We will pick up some more of the SOTO in future posts.

You really make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this topic to be really something which I think I would never understand. It seems too complicated and very broad for me. I am looking forward for your next post.
