Obama’s State of the Onion Speech “Not True” Part I
When President Obama attacked the Supreme Court of the United States of America during his State of the Union speech Wednesday night as these brave Justices dared to uphold the First Admendment; in this case the rights of businesses and groups to donate money to political campaigns was ensured where key provisions of McCain-Feingold was rolled back. While the President arrogantly ignored the Seperation of Powers act, Samuel Alito mouthed “Not true” about Obama’s ignorance regarding free speech rights. Obama set world records for campaign donations last election so his hypocrisy is breathtaking. And, I’m going to borrow Justice Samuel Alito’s line to refute Obama’s endless spin cycles, which was replete with his roiling anger at Americans for being “too stupid” to understand the Obamacrats utopian vision of benevolence where all solutions are correlated to government growing exponentially is really in our best interest. On the contrary, Mr. President, the “peasants” are in a revolt because we have figured out that you were a Karl Marx candidate, cleverly selling moderation in a slick package of “hope and change that we can all believe in”. Obama is in cahoots with Marxist stoodges in the Democratic Party like Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid that keeps threatening to seize healthcare, despite 60 to 70% of Americans saying not just no, but “Hell NO” to their power grab. Well, the donkeys are slow learners if they haven’t realized that the stunning victories in the Virginia and New Jersey Gubernatorial races for the Republicans, and Scott Brown winning over Martha Coakley in Massachusetts in the political upset of the century for the Ted Kennedy seat are the second great “Tea Party”, then they will have to face the ultimate “teachable moment” in the 2010 mid-term elections and in 2012.
The President and the Democratic Party is still defiant as they are getting ready to double down on “Tax & Gouge” (Cap & Trade) legislation, socialized healthcare and their array of leftist job destroying, freedom crushing policies. I hope that they play this hand as it potentially could cost them both Houses of Congress, coupled with ensuring the Obama is a one term President. Let’s go to the transcript to breakdown his recycled promises with my snippy, yet reasoned analysis. By the way, the funniest line that I heard among all of the analysts was on the Rush Limbaugh show when he said, “Nancy Pelosi looked like a trained seal at Sea World” pertaining to her obedience in giving the President standing ovations seemingly every few moments.
Obama: One year ago, I took office amid two wars, an economy rocked by a severe recession, a financial system on the verge of collapse, and a government deeply in debt. Experts from across the political spectrum warned that if we did not act, we might face a second depression, so we acted, immediately and aggresively. And one year later, the worst of the storm has passed.
Wayde: This is a nice try commitee for a better President; one year ago the economy was reeling, but you and your Democratic comrades exacerbated the situation by passing an ill-fated $787 billion dollar stimulus bill where you promised that the unemployment rate would not exceed 8% if we passed your boondoggle. Now, the Commerce Department reports a 10% plus unemployment rate, although the effective unemployment rate is over 17% with underemployment and folks that have just given up looking for work. And, I was against all of the bailouts because many of these lending institutions and banks had made highly speculative loans to third world countries. Unfortunately, the sub-prime mortgage scheme was a Democratic fiasco so some leniency might be in order. Moreover, the Chrysler and General Motors bailouts were American taxpayers ponying up money for untenable union contracts. By the way, both of these automakers ended up declaring bankruptcy anyway so that was money that was flushed down the drain.
The worst of the storm has not passed; Obama is still attacking Capitalism playing the class warfare game by targeting banks, financial institutions and insurance companies for additional punitive taxes or outright destruction. I heard a pundit say that a Government option would ensure that insurance companies would be bankrupt as government wouldn’t need to make a profit, plus they could just print more money to guarantee that the insurance companies couldn’t compete. Obama was on record as saying that he wanted a “Single Payer” plan, which means that he wants the field cleared. Imagine how many more jobs would be lost if the insurance industry is destroyed. This is what happened in France, Canada and Great Britain where the private insurance companies couldn’t compete with a government that made all of the rules, ensuring that profits would be impossible to attain.
Obama: But the devastation remains. One in ten Americans still cannot find work. Many businesses have shuttered. Home values have declined. Small towns and rural communities have been hit especially hard. And for those who’d already known poverty, life has become that much harder.
Wayde: The devastation will only remain the same, if not get worse because all of the liberal policies are an anathema to a robust recovery. Capitalism is under assault with the class warfare card frequently played. I had already outlined all of the industries that are being pressured and demonized by this Administration that won’t inspire any confidence to expand operations for businesses across the fruited plain. Tax increases are inevitable as the Democrats have voted against extending the Bush-Cheney tax cuts, which will end in 2011. Why would any business expand operations with “tax & gouge” legislation pending that is based on the phony global warming hoax that was discovered at East Anglia University in Great Britain, plus socialized medicine still lurking where taxes will dramatically increase? And, why would any person start a business right now, except out of desperation since there aren’t any jobs out there with a hostile Administration that has targeted industries to score cheap political points. No Sale Mr. President! Americans are not buying recycled campaign promises as they have become disillusioned with the true state of the union. Republicans have real solutions that can hopefully be implemented in 2010!

As a teenager, your insurance will typically be much higher than older people. I know of companies like The Hartford, which give good student discounts on car insurance to drivers under 25, so can check with them if you can avail that. If you are staying with your parents, you can ask them to get the car insurance in their name and add you on as an occasional additional driver. This will reduce rates for you. The Hartford also gives special rates to AARP members, so if your parents are members, maybe you can save some money there.
