Democrats will rue the day they passed socialized medicine

The Democrats in the Senate and President Obama have effectively flipped the bird to their states and the United States of America by proceeding with a thoroughly flawed healthcare bill as it appears likely that Senator Reid and President Obama has secured the 60th vote to prevent a promised Republican fillibuster effort. This despite Governor Swartzenegger of California or Calee-Fornia (if the “Governator” is pronouncing it), and Nebraska Governor Dave Heineman pleading with the Senators to not pass this bill as it will devastate their states economy with catastrophic additional expenses that they cannot afford during the Obama recession. Senator Ben Nelson (D) of Nebraska ignored the Governor’s message, coupled with nearly 70% of Nebraskan citizens that wanted no part of Harry Reid’s ludicrous bill.

The liberal Marxist’s in the Senate and Nancy Pelosi’s Democratic comrades are going to be feel some real pain in the 2010 elections from a furious electorate that made themselves painstakingly clear that they did not want this pathetic bill. The arrogance and condescension of the Democrats toward their constituents is breathtaking. I mean when CNN puts out a poll that shows that 61% of Americans do not want the government takeover of medicine, then you would think that even the wingnuts in Washington D.C would get the message. Newsflash to the Democrats, your days are numbered, and you just might even lose the Senate and the House next election, especially since you radicals are planning on blanket amnesty next, and some tax increases for dessert.

In a strange way, I’m actually glad that the Democrats are showing America who they really are when unchecked by the Republicans. The Donkey’s are removing the mask of their radical agenda that reveals that they are more hideous than the elephant man as the devastation of their policies is inevitable. In previous posts, I have illustrated that liberal programs always seem to exacerbate problems with unintended consequences. If we rewind the history tape, the liberal solutions of providing for retirement didn’t turn out too well, as social security is on the verge of bankruptcy, coupled with providing an average a pitiful 1% return on investment. How about Lyndon Baines Johnson’s “War on Poverty”? All that did, was devastate minority families with cities across the country morphing into urban battlefield’s replete with gang warfare partially due to father’s being replaced by welfare checks. Next up is educational system poisoned by National Education Association (NEA) Unions that destroyed quality standards, dumbing the system down to the extent that Cuba has a higher literacy rate than the United States of America. But, we spend infinitely more money than any other nation on education, while an array of countries have eclipsed us in math and science proficiency. I won’t even go into the fact that the United States of America has the highest debt level in the history of world civilization (13 trillion dollars in the red), yet these liberal Democrats keep spending like drunken sailors on a three day leave.

Republicans are fighting valiantly against the tyrannical majority party by demanding that the 383-page final amendments be read from th Senate floor. The elephants are fighting against significant Medicare cuts. Shame on the Congressional Budget Office that declared that the bill will cut the deficit by $132 billion dollars over 10 years, unless you factor in that we will be getting fleeced for four years before enduring any of the Democratic “benefits”. Perhaps the CBO has been drinking too much spiked Egg Nog during the holiday season. The radical President Obama declared “There’s still much work to be done, but not a lot of time to do it. But today is a major first step forward for the American people. After a nearly century-long struggle, we are on the cusp of making health care reform a reality in the United States of America.” Why isn’t there a lot of time to do it Mr. President, especially since it will be nearly four years to this legislation will be enacted? Could the real reason be that you or your teleprompter wants some substantive bragging rights for the State of the Union address in Janaury? If we used the old Democratic talking point “Speaking truth to power” you could say “We have started on an important journey in destroying the country!”

I think there is a reason the Dems chose a jackass to represent their party!!!!!!!!!

On that note I wish you a Merry ,Merry Christmas !

Washington ,if you are reading this be aware I am watching you as I bake and wrap and like an elephant ,I will not forget what you do while I prepare for the birth of Christ.

My Christmas wish is that you all be replaced by wiser people who love this country!!

  • Merry Christmas to you too Peg! We will keep praying to God that wiser, more competent leaders will be elected in the future. They will continue to be overconfident while trying to force their radical agenda down our throats, but payback will be sweet. I’ve said it before that the Revolutionary War was fought over less than what we are currently enduring. I’m not proposing that we take up arms, rather a bloodless coup where we win at the ballot boxes. Let us all have memories like elephants, and we will remind those other folks about the liberal Democrats actions before election time as it is hard to be in a perpetual state of righteous indignation.

  • hey, I like this article you wrote. I have a few questions but I will just read more!

  • While this issuecan be very touchy for most people, my opinion is that there has to be a middle or common ground that we all can find. I do appreciate that youve added relevant and clevercommentary here though. Thank you!

  • I agree that this is a controversial topic, however, the Democratic bill does nothing to reduce the cost of healthcare in America. It is just another power grab by the liberals to control all aspects of the citizens lives once they force all of the insurance companies out of business. A conservative solution would be major tort reform, wide open competition where insurance companies can sell policies in fifty states, medical savings accounts, coverage of catastrophic care for all legal American citizens through an array of cost cutting steps. How about Americans and healthcare providers also dealing directly with one another regarding payment to cut out middle men when possible? Did you ever notice how the bill is reduced when insurance companies are taken out of the equation?

  • Since we’re discussing the Drinking at College May Not Be the Best Plan , issue, Maintaining proper tire pressure and alignment is not only safer, but also it can increase fuel efficiency by 3.3%.

  • I can tell you from experience that drinking at college can lead to trouble; the binge drinking could lead to serious health issues or even death. Moderate drinking for those of legal age is a good thing. In other words, a beer or glass of wine a night could lead to longer life expectancy. Maintaining proper tire pressure and alignment is a good thing, but they are no substitution for drilling for oil.

  • I can speak from experience that out of control drinking at college can have devastating results. Conversely, moderate drinkers of legal drinking age can live longer than non-drinkers. In other words, one beer or glass of wine can be healthful. And, maintaining proper tire pressure and alignment can certainly be a safety issue, which is great advice. However, they are no substitute for drilling for oil when it comes to our strategy for energy independence.
