It’s fourth and goal at the one-yard line for the Democrats who look like they will get their political touchdown of socialized medicine if Senator Joe Lieberman from Connecticut and Nebraska’s Ben Nelson are coaxed, cajoled, bullied and strong armed into towing the Marxist line. It doesn’t look good for the Republican prevent defense as it is like the Democrats are playing with 20 extra men and women because they outnumber us 60 to 40. President Obama has the chutzpah to sell this boondoggle that will explode costs and lead to endless waiting lines, rationing and outright refusal of care just like every other nationalized plan around the globe. Obama whined that 14,000 Americans are losing their healthcare every day, that corelates to the Obama recession caused by unsustainable government spending, coupled with tax increases. This begs the next question; why are we waiting until the end of 2013 to unveil this plan then? There is good news though; if Republicans can take back the House of Representatives and Senate in 2010 we can effectively give this program a full blown lobotomy. Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R) Kentucky said that we can roll this program back, which means we can win the game in overtime.

The Democrats hardball policies are reminiscent of the Beatles song “Back in USSR” as these statists led by Obama and Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel are threatening Senator Nelson in Nebraska of closing an integral military strategic command center down in the “Cornhusker” state, which will further jeopardize national security. Why because authoritarians only care about their power and asserting their will on the peasant class? I wonder how much payoff money that Senator Joe Lieberman will be securing for the Nutmeg state? Ironically, it was independents and Republicans that saved Lieberman last election cycle when Democrats were working overtime to retire him, but this illustrates that there are no such thing as DINO’s or (Democrats in Name Only) as they always tow the liberal line. If Democrats dare to campaign as “Blue Dogs” or Moderates then hopefully they will be laughed out of the race as they are Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid lapdogs that won’t dare cross their masters.

The way to win the war is for a united Republican party to campaign on undoing the damage in 2009 with a comprehensive “Contract with America II”. The electorate is angry as the fictitious “Tea Party” garners the most votes now. Talk about messages; the Republicans need to give people a reason to vote for them as opposed to being the lesser of two evils as Democrats are going to be radioactive in 2010. Clearly, the Republicans need to be the Party of Freedom, less government, and more tools to jump start this abysmal economy.
