The audacity of blame Part IV
The Obama Speech at the Brookings Institute crystallized how this President doesn’t believe in America, unless the extreme country makeover is implemented by his Administration and his minions. I was watching Glen Beck on the Fox News Network that elucidated the path that this country is slated for with the average Federal workers making $71,000 per year versus approximately $40,000 for private sector employees, which is a significant earnings discrepancy. Moreover, its like the classic Cars song “Let the good times roll” where thousands of Department of Transportation workers have skyrocketed their way to six-figure incomes, while the rest of the country is facing layoffs and foreclosures. The Obama Administration is acting like some of the worst Roman Emperors with lavish parties and absolutely no expenses spared incuding flying in Earth Wind & Fire to provide entertainment while dining on $125 a pound, Japanese Colby Steaks, and romantic dates with Michelle that cost the taxpayers thousands of dollars. The “Let them eat cake” mentality where the Feds are leading the “La vida loca” lifestyle, and then lying through their teeth that the economy is improving epitomizes their arrogance because a majority of Americans can now see through the facade. Obama has a half-brother living in a hut in Kenya on $1.00 a month, yet he hasn’t helped his own flesh and blood out, but Michelle can don $500.00 french sneakers while shopping like she is Paris Hilton on a binge. The moral of all of this; do you really think that Obama cares about you personally or the state of the country? These Democrats are full blown authoritarians focused solely on their power; the American people in their eyes are peasants that will be their indentured slaves once the private sector is decimated. Americans will have to rely on them solely for subsistence living if they get their way, coupled with playing the blame Bush card through the next two election cycles if we are too stupid to see through this absurd propaganda.
Morever, it has been reported that Obama doesn’t celebrate Christmas, while bragging that his daughters didn’t get any presents last year. The acolytes on the left always tell us that he is this virtous Christian man, but why would a devoted follower of Christ declare that “America is not a Christian nation”, then assert that, “America is one of the largest Muslim countries, which is simply not true on either count. The Reverend Wright presides over a black seperatist Church that blames “whitey” for all of the problems, plus chastises all things American. I’m astonished that Obama still “enjoys” 50% personal approval numbers because I’ve never seen a more condescending leader in my life.
Here are some more Obama tidbits that highlight the kaleidoscope of promises that don’t square with reality.
Obama: “We cannot simply go back to the way things used to be. We can’t go back to an economy that yielded cycle after cycle of speculative booms and painful busts. We can’t continue to accept an education system in which our students trail their peers in other countries, and a health care system in which exploding costs put our business at a competitive disadvantage. And we cannot continue to ignore the clean energy challenge or cede global leadership in the emerging industries of the 21st century. An that’s why, even as we strive to meet the crisis of the moment, we have insisted on laying a new foundation for the future.”
(That’s so cute Mr. President, we cannot go back to Capitalism if we don’t have booms and busts, but I’m sure we can all wallow in your “trickle up poverty” that New York and California are modeling for us with their interminable liberal leadership. And, don’t even try arguing that the Governator is Republican as Arnold has been the typical RINO leader in “CALEE-FORNIA” that sold out to the Democratic leadership acting like a girly man, which is ironic since he initially chastised his opponents of being less than masculine. Maybe his wife Maria got ahold of him telling Arnold that he better ride left. The educational system that Obama indicts is the Democratic way of incorrigible teacher’s unions that only care about themselves, coupled with liberal agendizing of these poor kids with lesson plans that talk about America being the villain in most of the world’s problems. The United States of America spend exponentially more than any other country on the planet, and what do we have to show for it? Vouchers for everyone is a necessary first step, especially in the inner cities. How about increased competition with more cyber schools and homeschooling to force everybody to be excellent or go home! President Obama is closing down a charter school in Washington D.C. where the predominantly black students displayed miraculous results. Why would he do such a thing? Maybe because the radical Teacher’s Unions can’t abide by any competition or others exhibiting how to get tangible results! (WD)
Obama: And because our economic future depends on our leadership in the industries of the future, we are investing in basic applied research, and working to create the incentives to build a new clean energy economy. For we know the nation that leads in clean energy will be the nation that leads the world. I want America to be that nation. I want America’s prosperity to be powered by what we invent and pioneer..not just what we borrow and what we consume. And I know that we can and will be that nation if we are willing to do what it takes to get there.
(Mr. President, where exactly are all of the green jobs that you have been bragging about even after firing the insane Van Jones, the Green Jobs CZAR that was about having inmates put together solar panels, when he wasn’t worshipping Communism? America runs on oil, natural gas, clean coal and nuclear power, but you and your cronies lied to the American people, and are blocking companies from offshore drilling site, no new nuclear plants or clean coal plants, instead extolling the virtues of wind and power. Wind and solar power can only be a back-up source for America’s energy; environmentalist wackos are preventing even wind to be more viable by blocking distribution prompting T. Boone Pickens to stop investing in this option. Nuclear Power is pristine clean; many industrial nations such as France are receiving up to 70% of their energy needs from nuclear plants! Coal miners are losing their jobs because of adversarial policies of the Democrats that are the true obstructionists to true energy independence. The USA needs to be an all of the above energy country with all of those options, along with new new refining plants. If there are green technologies let them be bought to the marketplace by entreprenuers, government incentives could also be put in place. But, these options are not ready to run America right now! It could take decades so we need to extract our own plentiful energy option including boutiful shale deposits right now! Well, we can’t wait until we throw all of the Democrats out of office in 2010!
The moral of all of this; do you really think that Obama cares about you personally or the state of the country?
How about: “Do I really care?” As an individual, I don’t need Obama’s care or blessing. Like many other Americans, I work hard each day to pay the bills. I’m not looking for someone to blame. Republicans look to blame Democrats. Democrats look to blame Republicans. As each does so, life goes on. Someone still has to milk the cows. Someone still has to deliver the newspapers. Someone still has to fix the traffic signals, to teach our children, to collect our taxes, to pain the lines on the roads, and so on.
I think a little too much time and effort and energy is spent on trying to bash the other guy. I do. Oh, I’m not naive enough to believe that some people are bad and need bashing. But I believe that a positive course of action (positive thinking, positive teaching, positive action, positive results) could be a better way.
I ran across an organization yesterday that has stopped and made me think. It’s call Heifer International. Now I don’t know a lot about them, but I read through the brochure/catalog they sent me, and I found it fascinating. They provide the impoverished with farm animals. For example, a cow. The family is taught before they get it how to take care of it, and they are required to give away the first born female calf, so that it can truly be the gift that keeps giving. But it shows how a poor family living overseas can take the 3-4 gallons of milk produced by the cow per day and give great nourishment to all members, and then the excess can be sold to help pay for other foods and necessities. I was just astounded. They have programs in there for goats, and llamas and chickens and even water buffalo.
Am I going to donate to the Republican or Democratic party this coming year? Not a chance. Not if you twisted my arm. When I think of the millions of dollars that are used to try and get someone elected all I see is waste, waste, waste of funding. No, I’ll put my money to better use. I’ll buy a cow for some family. Or a goat. Or some chickens too. And while I can’t be 100% positive that my effort is going to be successful, I can be 100% sure that it is at least not going to a wasteful process. And for that, I can say Happy Holidays.
Nuclear Power is pristine clean…
Ahem…Three Mile Island? Not once, but twice? The first time, if you remember me telling you, my ex-father-in-law was on the island during the accident, and was PROHIBITED from leaving the island for several hours AFTER the accident. About 10 years later he somehow develops pancreatic cancer and dies from it within a year. Interestingly enough, that’s one of the cancers that is linked to nuclear radiation spills.
Oh..and then we can chat about that little incident in the Ukraine…Chernobyl?
Nuclear power is clean, yes, but don’t forget about the waste that it produces. That’s lethal for centuries.
Nick is so right about Heifer International. What a good organization and simple but wonderful concept.

Most of us believe in a hand up and shun handouts. This is certainly in line with my concept of this philosophy,perhaps it will be for some more of you folks also.
The Three Mile Island meltdown was a terrible accident, yet it is difficult to determine how many people died from cancer related illnesses from that event. Chernobyl was a bigger disaster because the Russian goverment didn’t have proper safeguards in place. Technology has dramatically improved, and many industrialized nations are increasing their reliance on Nuclear Power because of its efficiency versus silly windmills that maim and kill thousands of birds in a most excruciating fashion and solar energy that has never illustrated it can be more than an ancillary solution. The bottom line is that the Democrats are hampering our economy by being beholden to environmentalist wackos that want us to all live in tents, yet their leaders like Al Gore use more energy in one month than 20 families use in a year. I don’t think that the Three Mile Island accident has had long term effects as people continued to live there right after the accident, and to this day. I’ll concede your point regarding Chernobyl, but again that was from lack of proper planning by the Russians. Moreover, millions of people die in car accidents, where maybe dozens or hundreds of people perished from the after effects of Three Mile Island, and I don’t see us banning automobiles unless Al Gore tragically becomes our President of the USA.
The United States of America has been a partisan country since its founding with Representatives coming to blows, and even duels in the beginning with former Secretary of the Treasury Alexander Hamilton versus than Vice-President Aaron Burr, where Burr shot Hamilton dead. I’m certainly not for that kind of political justice of murder, but I favor politicians passionately fighting for their core beliefs, sans fisticuffs or physical confrontations. Where we part, is that you don’t believe that a sitting President of the United States of America wants to radically alter our country for the worse; this will be a veritable “womb to the tomb” government where they control all aspects of our lives if we don’t stop the socialization path. Nazi Germany started off by controlling their healthcare system because they knew that would help with their Dictatorial process when seizing this entitlement program. This President is already on record as talking about pain killers, rather than a pacemaker for a lady’s mom during a healthcare forum, which tells you everything you need to know where this bunch wants to take us. Trusting in the government is a dangerous course, especially with the Democrats controlling all levers of power.
Nick, I inadvertently deleted your comment about checking my place for mold! What did you mean by that question? Maybe Obama can check for me as he is pushing weatherization and being energy efficient! We won’t have any food or energy with their policies, but our houses will be sealed up real well.

Politics is like caffeine for me too! I’m still learning too, but I immerse myself in a lot of radio, television and internet websites to try to stay current. I really appreciate your compliments about our blog! And, I believe that the mainstream liberal media is delivering propaganda, coupled with failing to live up to their First Amendment responsibilities as a watchdog press. The economy will pick up when the Democrats are thrown out of office in significant numbers as the uncertainty of the additional damage that they will do is freezing businesses and consumers to hold off on spending, big purchases etc.
